How to sign up and pay for a trip.

1. Register through the Google form links below.
2. Pay with your GWorld by visiting the Office for the Student Experience during business hours (5th floor Marvin Center) or through the credit card portal: https://my.gwu.edu/mod/cse/

You must sign-up and pay the Friday before your trip. If you do not register and pay, your spot is not confirmed. You do not have to pay for free trips. 

Refunds: To receive a refund, email your payment confirmation to [email protected]You cannot be reimbursed after the Wednesday before your trip. Please keep in mind that it can take up to a month to process a refund.

FALL BREAK TRIPS 2019 
Grayson Highlands Backpacking Trip, Oct. 19-22nd,  $165.00

Join us on our trip to the Grayson Highlands! See the grand view from Virginia's highest peak, traverse across rolling hills and grasslands along the Appalachian Trails, and meet wild ponies! This 4 day trip is perfect for beginner backpackers, with no previous experience necessary. 
For backpacking we will be hiking approximately 10 miles a day, with 30-40 pound in a backpack. Find out more about backpacking with a video here. We have gear that you can borrow from TRAiLS for free!

West Virginia Rock Climbing, Oct. 19-22nd, $375.00

Join us for 4 days in the beautiful Seneca Rocks West Virginia! We will spend two days top roping and repelling (climbing with a rope and a partner to help belay you) on Seneca Rock's stunning vertical face and the other two days hiking in the Dolly Sods and Black Water State Park!

James River Kayaking Trip, Oct. 20-22nd, $160

Join us for an 3 day outdoor adventure in Buchanan, Virginia!  Hike scenic Devil's Marbleyard and white water kayaking on the James River. On the way home, we will stop by one of Virginia's natural wonders, the Natural Bridge.

Massanutten Storybook Trail, TRAiLS Identity Based Trip,

Adventure with us on this 1 mile walk to an overlook of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah Valley. This trip is tailored so that students, faculty members, or staff with disabilities may enjoy the outdoors along with all others whom are interested. Thus, this trail is entirely wheelchair and handicapped accessible.

Overall Run Hike Overnight Backpacking Trip, September 28th-29th, 8am, $45.00

This is a one night backpacking trip through the lovely Shenandoah Valley! We will be hiking about 12 miles total (with packs) over the two days. On the trail we will see the biggest waterfall in Shenandoah, and even be able to go for a swim! Open to all skill levels, no experience required.
