Residential Experience

The CSE supports the residential experience of GW students through a variety of administrative, programmatic, and partnership initiatives. In conjunction with GW Housing, the CSE is promoting strong communities in the residence halls.

Students live in residence halls designated by their class standing. CSE student House Staff live in each community and are responsible for community development, programming, conflict mediation, and peer-to-peer support. Each residence hall has a Residence Director who serves as the primary CSE administrative contact for the building and supervisor to the House Staff. Residence Directors report to Area Coordinators who are full-time professional staff responsible for a configuration of residential communities. Together, the staff of the Center for Student Engagement work to provide an exceptional residential experience for every GW student.
