Reservable Space on Campus

If you are not a registered student organization, click on these links to reserve student space in the Marvin Center or Gelman Library.

Sstudent organizations have the ability to book a vast array of event and meeting spaces on campus. All of these spaces are listed below with additional information on how to make bookings within them. View this guide how to set authorized schedulers for your student organization for all campus spaces.

  • The Center for Student Engagement manages all reservations for District House, Mitchell Theater, Residence Hall Community Rooms, Phillips B152 &B156, and the GW Museum and Textile Museum through the CSE Reservations team - to see availability and to reserve these spaces please see
  • To reserve Events and Venues spaces including: Marvin Center (including terrace tabling), outdoor space, such as Kogan Plaza or University Yard, Large reception space in the School of Media and Public Affairs, the Elliott School of International Affairs, or Alumni House - click here.

    • To update the members of your group that are authorized to schedule in these spaces click here (you will be prompted to login to OrgSync). Limit three per group; changes to authorized schedulers are limited to once per semester. 
    • Request for cancellation of event space must be submitted  before the close of business five days prior to an event in a Major Space or Outdoor Space and three days prior to an event in a Meeting Space. Failure to do so will result in penalty charges.

    • ​All officers and administrators of student organizations, as listed in OrgSync, are authorized to schedule in academic spaces. Changes to officers and administrators are reflected in a bi-weekly upload to the academic scheduling system.
