Rates and Pricing

 

Thank you for your interest in coming to the SUMMIT Outdoor Challenge Course at The George Washington University. We are excited to work with your group and have them experience the course!

 

We recognize that finances can be limited, and we are pleased to offer your organization one of the most affordable team building experiences in the DC area. We are happy to work with organizations experiencing extenuating circumstances to find a reasonable price agreement.

 

For off-site SUMMIT sessions, additional charges for facilitator travel may apply.

 

GW SUMMIT Rates

Note: fees listed above are for a standard two-hour session. If you are interested in a longer session, please email SUMMIT Base Camp ([email protected]) to find out how your group can be accommodated.

 

For longer sessions, clients will be charged the base fee plus a facilitator fee of $12/hour per facilitator scheduled. Number of facilitators scheduled varies based on size of group. (e.g. a 2.5 hour session would be charged a $6 fee per facilitator scheduled as well as the base fee per participant as listed above. A 3 hour session would be charged a $12 fee per facilitator scheduled in addition to the base fee per participant.)

 

 

Groups must have at least eight (8) participants to use the SUMMIT course.

Cancellation Policy

 

A client needing to cancel a scheduled session must contact SUMMIT Base Camp ([email protected]) in writing 5 (five) business days in advance for a full refund. Sessions cancelled between three and five business days in advance will receive a 60% refund. If the client cancels within three business days of the requested session date, NO REFUND will be provided. You must notify us by emailing [email protected] with your group's name, your session date and time, and the circumstances that led to your cancellation. Failure to notify us by this deadline may impact your group's ability to utilize the course in the future.

 

Rescheduling Policy: a client wishing to reschedule a previously scheduled session must contact SUMMIT Base Camp ([email protected]) in writing no less than 10 business days in advance of the scheduled date for complimentary rescheduling. Sessions rescheduled less than 10 business days in advance will be charged a $50 rescheduling fee. If an initial session date is confirmed, SUMMIT cannot guarantee facilitator availability on a new rescheduled date; in the event that SUMMIT is not able to secure facilitators for a new date, the client will be refunded the initial session fees.

 

Participant No Show Fee: all non-paying groups (GW student organizations) will be assessed a $12 fee for every 15 participants who were scheduled, but do not show up for the session. Clients who email SUMMIT Base Camp with an updated participant count up to 2 (two) business days prior to the session will not be charged a no-show fee.

 

Inclement Weather: Since Base Camp reserves indoor space for most sessions (with certain limitations for groups larger than 45), SUMMIT sessions proceed despite inclement weather. If circumstances compromise the indoor space, SUMMIT Base Camp staff will determine whether to cancel a session. If Base Camp chooses to cancel the session due to inclement weather, the group contact(s) will receive an email no less than 24 hours in advance with notification of the cancellation. Cancellations by Base Camp will not be held against the group, and paying groups will be refunded.

 

Base Camp Cancellations: If certain extenuating circumstances occur, Base Camp might be required to cancel a session, and reserves the right to do so. Base Camp will make every effort to notify the group as early as possible, and at minimum with 24 hours notice. Cancellations by Base Camp will not be held against the group, and paying groups will be refunded.
