Manage Your Organization

The Center for Student Engagement offers a variety of resources for student organizations to help student leaders manage their organization.


OrgSync is the main portal for managing student organizations. Access OrgSync at With OrgSync, you can:

  • Access your organization's finances
  • Apply for funding from the Student Association
  • Submit important forms, including travel registration, registration for events with alcohol, authorized schedulers, and more
  • Manage your organization's free and fully customizable website
  • Track your organization's membership
  • Communicate with your membership in lieu of an external listserv
  • Promote your organization's events to the campus community
  • Find OrgSync guides on managing student organizations in the Files section of your organization's portal
  • In-person training sessions on general OrgSync usage, website building, and communication tools are available through the Excellence in Leadership Seminar.

Staff Advisors

Every organization is assigned a staff advisor to provide guidance and support. Read about how staff advisors can help you and your organization.

Excellence in Leadership Seminar

The Excellence in Leadership Seminar allows students to refine their leadership and organizational management skills. This series of 1- or 2-hour workshops is offered throughout the academic year to help student leaders both to grow and to manage their student organizations. Come to the sessions that interest you, and come as often as you'd like! Visit the Excellence in Leadership Seminar website to learn about the program and its offerings.

Student Organization Resource Desk

The Student Organization Resource Desk, located on the 5th floor of the Marvin Center, is available for walk-in advising by trained CSE staff advisors. With hours 5 days a week, the Resource Desk can help you manage your organization.

CSE Finance Office Hours

Need to deposit money into your organization's account, complete a credit card transaction, or another financial task? Visit the CSE Finance Office Hours for assistance! Located on the 5th floor of the Marvin Center, the CSE Finance Team can help you conduct business for your organization.

Dr. Robert A. Chernak Opportunity Fund for Student Engagement

Thanks to the generous donations of alumni, parents, and friends, the Dr. Robert A. Chernak Opportunity Fund for Student Engagement will, for years to come, support the diverse efforts and interests of student organizations to pursue and create opportunities that come their way, much as Dr. Chernak did over the course of his tenure at the university.  Chernak Opportunity Fund awards are available up to $300 per program or project, with each student organization eligible to receive one grant per calendar year.
