Getting Involved

Looking for ways to get involved at GW?

One of the great things about being a student at GW - whether undergraduate or graduate - is that there are many ways to get involved outside the classroom. From being a leader in a student organization to attending events in the city to helping incoming freshman have a great GW experience, you are bound to find the right fit for you.

Some ideas for ways to get involved throughout the year:

  • Go on a TRAiLS trip – hiking, kayaking, whitewater rafting, oh my!
  • Work as an Office Assistant in any of the Division of Student Affairs departments
  • Join a student organization -- to browse the all of GW's student orgs, log into OrgSync with your netID and password.
  • Apply to be a Colonial Cabinet Member - applications available in September!
  • Be a Campaign Manager for a student leadership position election
  • Apply to be a Resident Advisor
