Graudate Student Positions

Thank you for your interest in our graduate roles for the 2019-2020 academic year!  Our graduate staff members serve an integral role in supporting and enhancing the student experience here at GW.  All of our staff members bring their own experiences, goals, and approaches to the role but share a common desire to make meaningful contributions in the lives of our students.  Roles within our office include:

Assistant Program Coordinators (APCs)

APCs assist in programmatic planning and execution that enhances the GW undergraduate and graduate student experience, through supporting programs and initiatives that produce positive student outcomes. Our APCs work within one of our teams (Community Support and Leadership, Fraternity and Sorority Life, Housing, Mount Vernon Campus, Student Involvement, etc), and work on a focused area to create and develop innovative initatives.

Residence Directors (RDs)

RDs support the holistic development of their team and students through fostering connection between one another, support systems, communities, and the university in our residential communities. The advice, guidance, care, and mentorship RDs provide to their team and residents contribute to making the RD role essential in supporting and enhancing the student experience.
